On Incarnation

Just as an Oedipus complex in its pathologic form in psychoanalysis calls for dissipation1, it is in the same way the goal of all meditation to finally terminate reincarnations.

The theory of re-birth, going all the way back to Plato, only serves as a booster into the region of true and real ideas which themselves served the philosophers of the Lethe (the river of oblivion) circle in leading them to the truth, to A-Lethe-ia2.

But being continuously re-born, and for all eternity, cannot be the sense of reincarnation theory. The sense of reincarnations is better explained psychologically. Deeply rooted fixations in the unconscious are not dissolved. There exists a compulsion to repeat (Freud called it: 'death-drive'), and so we carry certain guilt-shame complexes around with us, seemingly for indefinite time. Of course, at some point we come across the necessity of dissolving these complexes, if we are not to be completely mistaken in leading our lives. Subsequently, in Surat Shabd Yoga the reincarnation levels are left behind forever once past the second level (Trikuti3).

It is said, that the Deva form, the SHINES form4 of the headmaster leads directly to the 'mental', 'causal' and 'super-causal' levels so that we must never return to earthly life. Though the term 'super-causal' may be questionable - because, what causes the 'super', if it is already beyond the 'causal'? - It is surely the conjectural and precise presumptive science which is safer ground for the comparison of languages between East and West.

This, our last incarnation is the one that leads us to our death, not as the End, but rather as the Goal, insofar as this incarnation (or 'carnal, libidinal existence') is found at the level of a 'light' / 'sound' combination! Incarnation for a new psychoanalysis! For a new precise conjectural science!

1 'Pathologic' here, means, for example: a young boy clinging to his mother in an incestuous manner, and fighting against his father as if the latter would be a rival.

2 Άλήθείά (Aletheia), meaning ‚truth' in Greek

3 There are five levels in Surat Shabd Yoga, as I will be describing later on.

4 'Deva' means godly, the term 'astral' means: referring to the order of the stars, of 'light'. In simplifying these mythical terms I rather speak of the SHINES as a direct, universal term. The "mental level", on the other hand, concerns a way of thinking in a certain system of thoughts, not a really free, unbound thinking. The 'mental' does not deal with a broad elaborated philosophic or complex scientific thinking. It is more a thinking within a frame of a religious system, for example. Whereas in psychoanalysis - if it is performed correctly - we can find free thinking which does not deal with a systematic procedure, and therefore is free 'conjectural thinking'.
