Aspects of ARE-VID-EOR

The letters dance in a circle like mirroring-scenes. After all, they are not yet language, nor words, nor sentences, but just a circular dance of symbols, or of sound characteristics of letters or of a SHINES.

The moment reading is begun and one meaning, or idea, after the other is read, then it seems to sound like an echo-discourse. Whether from the unchanging symbols or from the letter’s echo, in the beginning a seemingly different rhetoric resounds: a SPEAKS. Only then, when we notice that three or more significations are put into the whole thing, does it change to a higher level: described as the O / O.

The Other, this ‚empty’, foreign and purely structural Other couldn’t be represented in a better way. The Other’s attention is there once mental repetition of V-I-D-E-O-R-A-R-E-V-I-D is performed. . . Simultaneous attention need be paid to something of the sorts of a SHINES, so, the individual needs to be collected and concentrated.

The Other’s attention is produced, because the images, symbols and the letter-circle are appealing, tying and fascinating, but also, because the repetition of the FORMULA-WORD is connected to the concentration on the SHINES, as in Surat Shabd Yoga. The letter-circle SHINES independently, but concentration on the SHINES is necessary just the same as when repeating 'loaded' Sanskrit names – as briefly mentioned above.

But his word, which reaches to his ‚assignment’, is also offered when a new name, thought or sentence appears in the combination of the SPEAKS with the phonologic structure of the FORMULA-WORD(s), especially when related to the second exercise: Something corresponding sounds that instructs to think of something or to formulate something or to continue work in this science.

Even if we were to continue mental repetition of the FORMULA-WORDs only as in a prayer wheel, the letter’s sound would start to become disordered and then reconvene for the Other's discourse. Or to a simple, possibly meaningless, SPEAKS (to a good well-understanding).

In order for this not to happen, it is necessary to simultaneously concentrate on the SHINES in the first exercise, and then isolated on the SPEAKS in the second exercise. Though the SPEAKS is first an echo-discourse, or babble of syllables, this doesn’t mean that it can supply an unconscious meaning resulting from the entire exercise – by the subject being clarified between all the signifiers, and this means now: between the O / O and the FORMULA-WORD - formulations.1
